This is a guide to help you enroll a new student and register your returning child.
You may enroll or register from your personal computer or contact your student's campus registrar to make an appointment to use a school computer.
Approximate Time: 15–30 minutes if tech savvy 45–60 minutes if new to technology

  • An email account
  • A scanned copy of the following documents
    • Birth Certificate
    • Immunization Record
    • Parent Driver's License
    • Proof of Residency
    • Student Social Security
    • Transcript/Report Card
** 7th grade needs a specific immunization-check with campus nurse
  • Registration is required each year
  • Proof of Residency is required each year
    ALL Student Registrations will need a Proof of Residency

RETURNING STUDENT REGISTRATION
A student that just finished the school year with RFISD and will begin the following school year with RFISD is a Returning Student. You must re-register your child/children each year. This allows us to schedule your child in courses.  You are able to update any changes needed, such as medical history, address, emails and phone numbers.
*Completing this process ensures we have your current and correct contact information in the case of an emergency, and your student will have a schedule and be able to attend classes on the first day of school. 
 
You will use your Family Access account to register your student for the school year.

STUDENT DID NOT COMPLETE TO END OF YEAR in RFISD
You will need to use the NEW TO DISTRICT ENROLLMENT.  Open the statement line; I have never enrolled my child in RFISD or my child did not complete last year in RFISD and click the link for New to District Enrollment.  
 
Special Considerations
Emergency Contact Section:
 
Emergency Contact information is limited to 4 individuals during the registration and enrollment process. Two of these individuals are parents/guardians.  If you have more than 4 total individuals that need to be added, please contact the registrar of the campus and give them the information required to add these individuals. The emergency contacts should be someone that can come to the school to pick up your child if you are not able.
 
 
NEW TO DISTRICT ENROLLMENT
A student that has never attended RFISD, a student that attended one or more years ago, and a student that did not complete the previous school year with  RFISD will need to complete the New To District Enrollment. You will need the items listed below to begin your Student's New Enrollment. 
 
What you will need:
  • An email account

    • Proof of Residency
    • Student Social Security
    • Transcript/Report Card
If you are unable to scan your documents at this time, you can add them later.
Need help scanning your documents? Contact the school office to make an appointment and they will scan them for you.

A prior year student needing to enroll with New to District may need their old Family Access login.  You can contact the registrar of the campus for this information.
