I have worked with students from preschool to college, but teaching high school students is the best. These students are on the threshold of new beginnings. For some it might be a first job, a driver's license, college, or learning a trade. Life is an open door to the future. To help prepare these students for their next stage, I hold a Bachelor's degree in Speech and English and a Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction.
Personally, my husband and I have two children. Wilson is a graduate of Texas A & M (Whoop!) and is now living in NYC. Sydney is a graduate of UTSA (Go Runners!) and is also living in NYC.
Meet the Teacher
A goal for my students would be for them to be comfortable writing and to enjoy reading. The more we do it, the easier it will be.
My absolute favorite thing is to spend time with my family. Talking around the table after dinner is a treasure -- a gift to be valued. Beyond time with my family, my husband and I take many trips to Cuero to check on our cattle. We don´t have many, but we enjoy being small scale ranchers. Other interests include time with friends and finding adventure by traveling. (before Covid)
Baseball is the sport that I enjoy most, but watching college football also captures my attention. We do follow those Fightin' Texas Aggies. However, we also pay attention to the UTSA Roadrunners.
