Albert Einstein once said: “Education is not the learning of facts, but the training of the mind to think.” My mission is to teach you how to think for yourself. The word education comes from the Latin EDUCARE, which means “to bring out.” You must realize that your brains are powerhouses, and it is my utmost duty as an educator to bring out your mental powers and the greatness of your character. Martlin Luther King Jr. said: “The function of education is to teach one to think intensively and to think critically. Intelligence plus character – that is the goal of true education.” And to that, I say - ONWARD, TO A BETTER FUTURE THROUGH EDUCATION!
I enjoy reading sci-fi and fantasy, comics, creating art and props, guitar, ukulele, hiking, working out, swords, and anything steampunk. I perform at open-mic events and attend comic con every year. You may even see me in costumes here in the classroom!
