About Me

I grew up in Rockport and graduated from RFHS in 2006.  I then attended Texas A&M University - Corpus Christi and graduated with my Bachelor's in English in 2011, but didn't start teaching until 2015 as a 7th grade ELAR teacher in Corpus.  Five years later, I am glad to come back to my hometown and school!

I have two beautiful babies and a loving, supportive husband and we are excited to move to Rockport, along with our dogs and cats!

I love to read, spend time with my family and friends, and travel.  I am a huge Discword nerd, volunteer at The Cattery Cat Shelter, and my favorite animals are elephants!

Mission Statement

Everyone, no matter where they come from, deserves a quality and equitable education.  The ability to read and write fluently is vital to success.  My hope is to foster a love for reading for each and every child so that they become lifelong learners and thinkers.

My Interests

Reading, binging my favorite shows, spending time with family, traveling, tubing, board games, just to name a few!
