Education: Texas Southmost College Brownsville,Tx. Texas State University, Music Education. Del Mar College and Texas A&I University.

I was born and grew up in culturally diverse Brownsville Tx. I Married husband Jim in 1980. Have 3 grown children and two grandchildren. Even though we are scattered among 4 states we are very close in spirit. 

Hobbies are crafts and cooking. Love to read books about history. Enjoy watching classic movies. Also love to travel.

Started teaching in Claremore Ok in 2003.

Hired at ACISD in 2007. 
My passion is getting to know children and watching them grow and learn. Even the most difficult days are made better being around children. There is no happier place on earth than a child's playground! 
My favorite subject to tutor is 2nd grade math. I love math games! I love seeing a child's eyes light up when everything “clicks” in their brain and they understand something! 
Its great to be at ACISD where kindness is a priority among the students and the staff. We truly care about each and every student. It's my privilege to help teachers in any way I can to help their students grow and learn. Together we change the future.
