About Me

Thank you for visiting my page.  I am entering my 20th year of teaching and this will be my fourth year at Rockport-Fulton HS.  I will be running the Acceleration Lab and will be the head boys basketball coach along with assisting Junior High football.

I graduated high school from Evant, Texas and then attended Tarleton State University where I received a bachelors degree in Kinesiology with a minor in History. 

I am happily married to Joanna Bates who will be a 3rd grade ELAR/SS teacher at Fulton Learning Center.  We have two sons, Chance will be a Sophomore attending RFHS and Bryce will be in 8th grade at RFMS.

We are excited to be a part of Pirate Nation and being a part of the Rockport-Fulton community.
