I am a Texas native originally from the Kenedy and Karnes City area where I spent 20 plus years in city and county government jobs. My husband and I have 4 children with ages of 46, 38, 32, and 26 and and have been blessed with 6 grandchildren.
My career began 22 years ago with Aransas County ISD.
I started at an elementary school as one of the computer lab teacher/facilitators and later also became the Grade-book Administrator for the campus as well. After 10 years with computers, I was asked to take over the campus position of PEIMS Specialist including attendance, registrar, and grades. I made another move up in 2012 to the District PEIMS Office. In July 2019, I took over the position of PEIMS Coordinator.
My mission is to do what needs to be done to complete the job. Compromise if applicable while trying to protect the best interests of all involved. The education, safety and welfare of our students always comes first.
Oh my. Where to begin...
I like computers; however I love to read. I even have a Kindle so I can always have a good book with me when I am on the go! Reading just wakes up your brain and gets it all excited and full of good information.
I work puzzles, and trivia is extremely interesting to me. I love to learn things others don't know much about.
I have a frog collection and am always picking up another one to add and find room to place somewhere. Frogs are the best and of course the word F.R.O.G. makes a wonderful anagram!
